A Flower Delivery

Funerals aren’t the most exciting of topics but when I think of all the ones that I have attended in the past, I can remember that at each and every viewing there was an abundance of Fresh Flowers engulfing the perimeters. The last funeral I attended was my grandmother’s on my mother’s side of the family.

I remember that I wanted to bring some beautiful flowers to the casket’s destination to lay by her side but sadly because of me being in such a frenzy to get there I had missed out on my chance to purchase them at a nearby florist. I had to catch a flight to New Mexico where it was all taking place and time was running slim. So when I had arrived to my destination, the first thing that was on my mind was making a Flower Delivery to the funeral home’s location. My flight was scheduled to arrive on the same day as the viewing so I had to haul tail to get there.

As soon as I got into town I rushed over to my aunt and uncle’s house to drop off my luggage and to urgently get the Flowers Delivered. So I then hopped online using my aunt’s computer to scope out all of my options. I have called for plenty of Flower Deliveries in the past so I wasn’t at all worried about whether or not I would have any success finding flowers to be delivered. However, I was a little concerned about finding the right florist that can make the delivery on time. Thankfully, my uncle suggested a few places to check out and so I did.

It turns out that I was ready to make my purchase after searching for about fifteen to twenty or so minutes. The viewing was in two hours and I was starting to feel doubtful about the flowers getting there on time. So, kindly speaking to the florist, I remember expressing how important this was to me to have these flowers delivered on time. The florist said that the driver wasn’t going to be picking up until 1:00pm, which happened to be exactly one hour after the viewing started, but, because of how sentimental these flowers were to me and how sadly disappointed I must have sounded over the phone, the florist decided to give me favor and said that she would instead send someone else to make the delivery for me pronto. I couldn’t believe it! I thought that I was just S.O.L. I’m sure that they don’t do that for customers on a usual basis. I was amazed at how nice this lady was for doing such a thing for me and couldn’t thank her enough for her kindness.

So in the end it turned out that the flowers made it to the funeral home before I did. When I had finally arrived, I walked straight to the room where my grandmother was being viewed, and sure enough, there they were, sitting right next to her along side of her casket with all of the others.
