Gifts from the Heart

It was my girlfriend’s birthday not too long ago and I was thinking of things that I could do that would be really nice and heartfelt. A lot of different things crossed my mind but one thing in particular that stood out to me in my mind, being a sweet thing to do, and that was Deliver Flowers to her work unexpectedly.

I looked for Flowers on Line to find the nearest florist located by her work facility and sure enough I found the perfect place that was located a block away from where she was. It really wasn’t hard to do at all and I thought to myself, “I should definitely do this more often”. All it takes is some money and a phone call. However, due to the holidays being so close, their selection was very limited and so I only had so many flowers to choose from because they had sold most of their products that day and throughout the past week. They did say they had a couple different colored Rose options left to choose from, like pink and red.

So I decided to go with a nice combination of the two along with loaded baby’s breath to fill it out. In the end, it was a good choice and she was very pleased and surprised. I also decide to take her to a ballet on the weekend of her birthday. We had never been to one together and there happened to be one ballet in particular that I thought she would enjoy and that was the “Nutcracker”. We overall had a really lovely evening because before the ballet we dined and delighted in a romantic dinner setting together with a few cocktails. I ultimately wanted her to know how much I care about her and love her. I might not have showered her with expensive Birthday Gifts and diamond jewelry but in my heart I felt like I was conveying my love for her and wanting to be romantic.

Sometimes, and most of the time, it is not the most materialistic things that women desire from a man, it is the heartfelt, personal and inner loving passion that they crave from us, and all the rest is a plus! I definitely am not the most romantic guy on this planet but I sure am working on being a better man every day. I want to make my woman happy by doing things for her and helping her with whatever she needs, because that also is a way of showing my love for her.

So just a reminder to all the fellas, if you love your woman then show her you love her with your actions. In this case we are talking about my girlfriend’s birthday weekend, but, in our everyday life this is a reminder to me that it doesn’t have to be just on her birthday or holidays, I can be doing nice things for her, like making unannounced Flower Deliveries or taking her out on dates, whenever the idea pops up.
